Most wolves were quite... uncertain, he supposed, when approaching any border. Her tension did not necessarily worry him, though it did make him curious at least. Though they had reasons to be unsure, he often wondered what had struck such a persistent problem into the population. Perhaps he had been an oddity for
not feeling that uncertainty - who knew? What he did know is that usually it dissipated after a short time, be it as they entered the pack or as they left. Perhaps they were afraid of Alphas, afraid of power... one day, he'd know. For now, though, he simply pondered upon it as he watched her, observing those small, barely-there ticks.
Her submission was an all too obvious thing, however, a thing that seemed to feed his desire for power all that more. It had been seldom that a wolf submitted so fully and he seemed to rise a little more, his body contorting into something a little more prideful. Still, he grinned down at her all the more curiously, a brow tilted slightly as she began to speak. They often seemed uncertain but seldom this nervous; he took the cue and moved back a step, attempting to lessen his presence so that she might not feel so overwhelmed.
"There is no way of messing up a first meeting, Sekera, so do not worry yourself so much."
Truthfully, there were many ways of messing up but anybody who considered being nervous and submission messing up was, well, frankly a fool. Did those in power not naturally enjoy those that did not desire it?
"Glorall is a place for any and all; judgement does not exist here. Tell me, though, what it is you think your place will be?"
A test of aspirations and nothing more; there were many that did not aspire to any sort of power, though he always hoped that more would come to fill the upper seats of the pack. For now, though, he would be content to further discover her nature. She seemed pleasant enough, or at least non threatening enough, but a few more minutes and he'd be sure.
