Romance is in the air...this is probably the most beautiful and scenic place in Blossom Forest. For the athletic and determined to come with their mates, for time away from pups. Only adults may come here; some of the ledges are too far apart for teens or pups to cross and some too high to scale.

Fingers of every sense in the universe flowed swiftly through the vixen’s veins. All battled for sanity and understanding, searching her mind and shredding other thoughts apart in order to turn out on top. It almost caused her to cave, for how would she be able to stop it if it chose to kill her? But Magic was strong, and she closed her eyes as she bowed her head, eliminating the turmoil and setting her feelings straight. Doing what was right was better than giving into anger. And her mate’s words filtered slowly through her ears. “ I wanted to find peace. Be away from everybody. Those looks reminded me of my siblings and parents' looks, and it scared me. I thought it was all gone, the memories, or at least hidden well enough, but seems not. I didn’t mean to hurt you, really. I just had to get away or I would have been too overwhelmed.”

And the hurt in the ess’ eyes showed again, her head looking up at him. She found his gaze and nodded. She would believe what he was telling her; she would be strong for the both of them. Magic stepped forward, one step at a time as she built her intensity as she was moved her gaze to the ground. Moving with her lithe figure, her neck found his, and she folded into his body. The fur on his body flicked against her features and ears, small jets of lightning floating through her skin. She had found her love again, and every bit of it was laced underneath her skin. The fae breathed in his scent, remembering the days, or really, hours, she spent memorizing it. And the smile upon her kissers grew.

“I’m glad you’re home, my love.” I almost gave up. Taking a step back, she placed her forehead upon his. “Please don’t leave me again,” she whispered, taking several more moments of gathering herself in his embrace before she pulled away. Though what she really wanted to start a family, she knew that that would not happen until the mended the family they already belonged to. They had become Betas of Aurora, a high honor in ranking. But if they were going to keep it, they would have to be a team. “We will work on how you see other wolves’ stares. But as we do that, we have to figure a way to share our rank in a way that gives us both ways to stay true to our family. Should Kalgalath not be present during a challenge, as well as Zig, I will take them. I do not ever want you to.” The thoughts in her head were turning, critical thoughts searching in and out.

“Journeying to other pack lands is also a Beta’s responsibility. Perhaps you could do that? I will accompany you on some journeys of course.” Her voice shook and she took another breath, speaking again. “You can do whatever you feel comfortable. I take challenges when I have to. Just try and stay around so Kal knows you are here for us, okay?” Magic nodded, taking another breath and looked back towards her mate. “I am glad you are home, love.” She didn’t hear her words, even in the deafening silence. But she knew her thoughts were heard.
