2 weeks ago I was driving on route 9 from Pittsfield to Ashfield. It was 1am and it was dark out. I was just past Windsor and along this stretch of the road I often see bears. In my headlight beam right by my car I caught a glimpse of a huge head. I am pretty good at 60 mile an hour wildlife identification. My immediate thought was a huge really huge, bull mastiff. It was only a 1/2 a second or less. Was it a mountain lion? Replies: There have been no replies.
