Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

We laughed at fate and mourned her;

She had gone throughout her entire life to never be touched during Winter. The need to hold another so close was something she just never seemed to care for. A year ago she had given herself to another, something she had never done before and did not wish to do again, all so he would simply leave her alone. It was a pity that Fate had decided to pair her with a creature that did not deserve to even walk upon the same patch of dirt as her. Though whatever invisible line that tethered her to such a weak individual was snapped. She had felt this luxurious release and she wish to never feel it ever again. Always she kept to herself sticking to the shadows and only coming out when necessary. Only her daughter could find her and even though she was of her blood she would never been seen in her eyes as a worthy thing to claim. Though she continued to tolerate her presence, Raven was nothing more than something she simply despised, Raven was nothing more than a barging chip. Cold as it was it was the simple truth. To appease her imprint she allowed him to violate her, take everything she held so dear, her pride tainted and cursed into providing him an unworthy creature to call his own. That he would abandon it was a great insult to her personal sacrifice and for that reason alone she tolerated her daughter’s appearance.

As her ebony muzzle dove into the side of her delicious prize she noticed from the corner of her dark blue eyes a shadow and white figure making its approach towards her. Between her teeth was a recently torn off piece of meat and she would swallow it whole before turning her skull in his direction. Grey trimmed ears twitched and pointed forward at attention for his approach. The Monster could not deny what she saw and she could only silently watch with approval. So long had she stalked through these grounds finding most males weak and pathetic. It was a damn shame that no male seemed to possess any quality that she would approve of. Many males had attempted to walk as this one before her, but their stride was fake, their temperament weak, and Tick Tock had zero patience to continue to be in the presence of one that was a replica of what she respected. It was a shame that this particular Winter she was growing with heated desire and she had no one in mind to even fan out the flames that licked and coiled within her chest. Always she suppressed such needs and yet for some reason this particular time she could not hide it.

Tick Tock was not a creature that could stand in a beauty pageant and win. The scars that littered along her frame were numerous. Along her flank there were a few new scars given to her by an elder female wolf that attempted to protect her foolish son. The son cowered and cry as she held the older wolf’s throat between her jaws, clamping it shut and ignoring how another she-wolf had dared to attack. She had done exactly as she was meant to do. The Monster hardly caring if she destroyed a family. Death needed to happen and she would not tolerate weakness around her. Although she was a bit of an older youth she still held the ability to survive where others could not. Even with faded wounds and old scars there was not a trace of weakness upon her. No broken bones caused her figure to move with a limp. She still head all her teeth and limbs. Only the right side of her ear was half way bitten off, and yet she wasn’t the only wolf to miss such a piece. Her mutilated face was enough to make any shy way or turn the other direction. With his emerald twin pools fixed on her a low growl would vibrate within her chest as she watched him show off.

As he spoke she simply watched and not a single part of her form flinched as he stood by her kill. He was domineering but not in a way that would cause her to get up and teach him about respect. He did not cower or beg before her. He acted just as any male should. He took what was his, but only what should belong to him. She hardly deemed him as a threat allowing his presence to be so very near the feline. It is true she could not eat it all and it would be a foolish thing to attempt such a thing. Though she was willing to provide him some nourishment…he was a fine specimen after all. Bloodstained lips would pull back slowly to reveal those long ivories as she watched was sick twisted amusement as he flashed his own fangs at her while digging into the felines’ shoulder. As he ripped his slice off and turned to give her space she would go back into eating her meal, but not before her cold tone slipped with such a sinister eerie feel to it.

“If we are going to share…what do you have to offer me?”

It was a simple question and she was curious.
