When he willingly presses into her touch and his voice slips between them, a pleasant smile is caressing her features. It was one of genuine pleasantness- perhaps only because they were the only ones present, more than well covered by prying eyes. While the Demon had known she had missed her soul, she had not known the exact extent of it. This was more than she had thought prior, and in reaction had her pressing herself closer to him. He was warm, safe, content; all things Vera had never even wished to find in another. And yet Yojimbo calmed something in her, soothed a part of her she had not known was in rage. She could not place it, but the imprint bond had a peculiar effect on her, or so she was lead to believe. The way he speaks and chooses his words, they are so queer and yet so very interesting. The way his dark mouth moves with the words is equally interesting to her senses- her sapphire gaze simply cannot get enough of him, roaming this way and that all over him. She does not think she could ever tire of looking upon him, so entranced had her thoughts become, though still part of her remained in the present and alert. It was a given he was her other half, her soul, her imprint, but no matter the circumstance danger lurked wherever a Demon went. It would not bode well to let attentions wander. Blinking slowly, several times, she withdrew from him only enough to gaze evenly with him. Vera had no interest in scaring him off, or giving him the wrong impression- but her thoughts as they were were rather.. unusual, to her, at least. Their first few times of meeting it had been much the same as it always had- an opportunity for her to get what she wanted. But now, now with such time that had passed, Vera wanted something else. Something more. What it was precisely, she had no idea, but she knew that she wanted it all the same. Perplexing thoughts plague her mind as she continued watching him, her voice finally sliding forth barely above a whisper for him. “Tell me about you.” They were not the words she had expected, but as for what words she even really expected to begin with she also had no idea. It seemed that the longer she was around Yojimbo and focused solely on him, the more difficult even simple thinking became for her. And as a Demon, Vera thought herself to be more than the average wolf, which, perhaps, in a way she was. She could sprint faster than anyone she knew currently living, and she considered herself very quick witted and clever with mind and tongue. So regardless of him being her imprint, she would grit her teeth and endure, pulling herself out of it and into her senses if need be, though for the moment she was content to indulge her senses. After all, it was just them with no others around, and who would even be stupid enough to interrupt a Demon in her den? The mere thought was quite laughable, but thoughts are once again drifting to him and her attention is settled. She waits, barely a breath away from him, her dark body shifting ever so slightly so that she may eventually be pressed up against him, her shoulder to his chest and in a way she could burrow against him. It seemed that her mind would go one way, and then another when in the presence of her Yojimbo, and Vera did not yet quite know how to make it go this way or that. |
