At one point in time, Misty Mountain stood opposite of Rainbow Cliff, and these rose to the sky as the only peaks in Blossom Forest. Since the magical change of the land, an entire chain of peaks rose from the bowels of the earth to become the Culter Unlaeddod - the Teeth of the Gods. Misty Mountain is still of the peaks, but many others exist as well. They run from north to south, from east to west. Atop some of the peaks, snow covers them year round, making the paths slippery and hazardous. Others are lower in altitude and are extremely humid, covered in thick, dense forests with mists swirling between each of the trunks. Others still are bare - naked boulders rising and falling haphazardly.

These chains of peaks do connect many of the packs, and they hold many things to explore - forbidden forests, deep and mysterious caves, beautiful scenic cliffs. However, one must have care - if you fall, it is a long, long, long way down...

Due to the varying terrains, many prey options are available. For those scared of injury, you may find ptarmigans, ravens, crows, squirrels, dormice, or rabbits. The adults hunting alone can find mountain goats... but for those hunting in a pack, there are elk, moose, and Bighorn Sheep.

Burning Desires || DONE

This place was heaven. It truly was a paradise. Kenna had never truly been happy until she had stumbled upon Blossom Forest. But then again, she was truly living in a dump back home. A burned down forest didn't serve as a very concealing, protective place to lay one's head. Especially for a pup as young as she was, with only her mum to watch over her. She didn't know what happened to the rest of her family. Her mum had never told her. But Kenna had a few ideas. That fire had to of been gigantic if it took down the entire forest that she once called home. She never saw it, never witnessed the beautifully burning flames, and for that she was grateful. She would have surely perished, as she was certain the rest of her pack did.

Pushing the thought from her mind, Kenna's ebony paws came to a sudden halt so that the ess could take in her surroundings. Her absentminded wandering had brought her to a small clearing, where the earthy terrain was replaced by cold, gray stone. In front of her stood a large mountain, mist swirling in white mystery around the peak. This mountain was not nearly as large as Rainbow Cliff, a mountain she had scaled only days before. Yes, she could definitely climb this one.

With that thought written in her brain, the lass began her way toward a winding path that seemed to go up forever. There was a path. That would make the trek that much easier. Of course, there were a few gaps in the rock which she had to leap over, but nothing too big or daring. It was perfect. A relaxing little climb in which the air became notably colder as she ascended, but that was okay. It cooled her down greatly, so she welcomed the gentle breeze that rolled over her and ruffled her russet fur.

Her nails clicked against the flat stone as she scaled the final jump to the top of the overlooking cliff, her soft blue eyes widening a bit with wonder. All around her danced a gentle mist, causing small drops of water to form on her soft canvas. Pure wonder took over her as she neared the edge of the cliff, looking down to scan over the vast land she came to call home. It was beautiful.

Her attention was grabbed by the familiar sound of claws against stone, flicking her gaze over to see a gray lass looking over the towering cliff. She smiled gently, walking over to the girl and taking her place next to her. "It's beautiful, isn't it?"
