"None." - Leader

The Offspring

Diccon (Cicada x Khar'pern)

Rules

• The Vulcan Peak is where homeless mares come to live as a sisterhood. Stallions may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Warriors keep mainly to fighting, Thinkers keep mainly to raiding, and Politicians may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Codebreaker or Prime Minister for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Prime Minister maintains order within the Peak and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Peak works on the Rules page.

DAUGHTER OF THE GODS

Reginleif waited on the mountain path for the perlino mare make her way up, a small smirk playing on the edge of her lips. The smirk disappeared as she caught wind of a scent above her, Skylar. Casting her eyes upwards she did not see the painted form of the mare but she did hear her hooves crunching against the pebbles and saw the stray dust tumble down the face her wake. Reginleif forced an irritated snort from her nostrils, unsure of which mare she would be lumbered with first.

Ultimately she kept her body facing the falls, not turning to meet either one as they met beside her. The swivel of her ears was the only acknowledgement she gave Skylar but she swung just her head round to witness their exchange curiously when it seemed Skylar knew something about the clumsy mare. Her body language remained calm, but the agitation was evident in the twitch of her ashen tail. She did not recognise the name of the stallion or why he was in any way significant. Reginleif could practically see the whites of the perlino’s eyes as she struggled to answer. For a moment, she had to wonder if the mare was going to turn and run or jump of the face of the mountain in a panic.

Sighing, she turned her whole body to face them and glanced at Skylar. ”Well don’t you just make friends everywhere you go” she stated flatly. She wondered if the mare was panicked because of Skylar or if it was because her stallion was the abusive sort. Perhaps she had wanted to come to the peak for refuge and anonymity. The perlino seemed to gather herself in the meantime, perhaps glad to have the focus momentary shift when Reginleif spoke.

At the mare’s line of questioning, Reginleif’s brow furrowed and she chuckled briefly,"And who told you that?" No doubt a love struck, misinformed band mare or one of the lagoon boys. ”As far as I can tell, we live as any other does but fight where there is injustice” Her tone was flat and lacked any sort of conviction; just a simple stating of fact. ”But what do I know, I am new” she shrugged. ”I fight to right wrongs and because I enjoy it.” It was unwise to cross the grey warrior, she could be vindictive and knew how to hold a grudge. Perhaps she was as brutish as Cae’s informant speculated.
