Okay, call me selfish, whatever, but I had to know that he really cared about me. I mean, I know he does, but knowing isn't always enough. So, I devised a little test for him. Yeah, it was cruel of me to get that male roused and interested...especially with the help of my wintery perfume, but hey...it is better than trying to get Doni flowers. I snuck off the second I could, not bothering to conceal the fact that I was leaving, my brother would feel my absence anyway. I came across the young male on my way to soak in the river, my body sore and swollen due to strenuous winter activity. I smirk as I relished the throbbing pain, my body breaking out in tingles and breaths coming in pants. This is when I meet the silver male of the shadows.

He was courteous and well mannered, though the flame of heat could not be drowned from his eyes. We spoke for a while, I spun a web of lies around his mind, waved my plush tail beneath his chin, and moved toward where I knew my brother would track me down to. The grey sap followed along with me as I led him to his demise, and my skin crawled where I felt the weight of his gaze upon my graceful and deadly form. When I sit upon my carefully laid trail, I let the male sit closer to me than any stranger, I giggled as he spoke to me in jokes. I spoke back in a flirtatious manner, and I wanted my brother to find him. I have always wondered what Adonis would do if I ever was approached by a male, and now with winter in full swing, I am ready to find out.

When I feel my twin growing closer, his presence like a soothing balm to my soul, I begin to inch away from the stranger, as if I had never wanted his company. I am quite the actress you see, and anything I could do to get out of trouble myself, I would do. My brother surprised me though, and he simply sat growling as he waited for our conversation to end, intrigued by this, I rush to end the conversation and trotted to Doni's side.

"Doni." I breathe his name as I brush passed him, my skin crawling again as I felt the grey male stare at us. A smile crept onto my muzzle, and I brushed against my brother and my lover in a teasing display of possession, my thickly furred tail curling around the bulk of his dark chest. We went to play our games and when we had our fill of fun, when both of us were sated and I drifted to sleep by his side, I felt him leave me. After a few heartbeats passed, I followed him, my pink nose to the ground to keep his trail, hoping he was doing what I thought he was.

When their trails blend and blood mixes into it, I know what I will find when I next see my Adonis. He will have proved his loving possession of me, and I will have something real to eat. My body is carried silently, yet boldly to the death site of the grey male. Golden eyes stare at the scene before me, red everywhere in the darkness, his yellow eye staring at me imploringly, my name upon his lips like a pleading prayer. "Doni," I begin, moving through what remains of the bastard, stepping upon his body to get to my brother. I lick the blood from his lips, removing the gore out of his coat. "I love you. And, even though you give messy flowers, he is the best one." I curl against his chest, pleased that he would kill for me.
