PRIME MINISTER'S DECREE

"None." - Leader

The Offspring

Diccon (Cicada x Khar'pern)

Rules

• The Vulcan Peak is where homeless mares come to live as a sisterhood. Stallions may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Warriors keep mainly to fighting, Thinkers keep mainly to raiding, and Politicians may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Codebreaker or Prime Minister for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Prime Minister maintains order within the Peak and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Peak works on the Rules page.

YOU LEFT ME IN THE DARK

IMPAZIENZA

“That’s possible,” Impa said. The root of the problem. That could be traced all the way back in time to the day a father led his daughter out of the Forest and across the ocean to a land that was cold and flat and empty except for the haughty black horses who somehow made her feel small with their hard expressions and evident disdain. There he had left her, and that was the root of the problem. Everything that could possibly have gone wrong in her life had. It was all her father’s fault.

Impa shook out her mane and shivered her skin as if that would help dispel the memories. There was little she could do about it all now, and dwelling on it (as she had for at least a decade) solved nothing. Her focus returned to Zhenya —someone much more pleasing to think about than her deceased father. “Oh?” she said, unable to hide her surprise. Her two stints in the Lagoon had been unpleasant for different reasons. Impa had yet to have a positive interaction with any stallion who was not her grandsire or brother, however. It astounded her to hear that some mares, occasionally, preferred the company of males.

“Well. I am glad you are not unhappy, there. You want to cross on over? Since they are so lax,” she said with a laugh, and backed up a step as if to give the other mare room to make her way over the invisible border. “Maybe stay for a little bit. Or a long time— through Fall and beyond it. Mares like you don’t need to be collared and kept at home like some kind of pet.” Impa snorted.
