The young buckskin filly was watching the path, waiting to catch sight of the two mares she was traveling with. She was starting to get impatient. She called out loudly and listened carefully for a call in return. Nothing.

Then she heard the call from the filly that was coming up behind her. She turned her head to glance at her. A pretty painted girl made her way over. Acapella smiled. It was the first time she smiled since she lost her playmate. The buckskin filly took a few steps towards her curiously. “Hi” She was a bit too excited. She was just happy to not be standing there alone in this new territory. “I am Acapella. It’s nice to meet you Moonshine.”

She had noticed the worn path. She figured the filly had done that. That led her to believe that maybe Skylar was her mother. Perhaps they were both waiting on the mares to make it to the peak. “Is Skylar your mother?” She paused for a moment before continuing. “I met her when I was traveling with Alibi. She invited us to this place.” She nodded towards the area. She smiled again before waiting patiently for an answer. Perhaps she just made a new friend?
