DEATH FOR MY BIRTHDAY

I WANT DEATH; DEATH FOR MY BIRTHDAY

Rhaego's mother had been what you could call....a groveling people (er, horse) please. Sure, that sounded harsh but if you had ever met the woman you would have agreed with him. She had drilled manners into his head, had taught him to avoid conflict if you could, and to try and please each person you met. Well, the now grown stallion had taken what he could from that and made it his own. He had vowed to never grovel, but being pleasent was certainly something he could stand to be. There was no use to fighting people you didn't have to or making enemies that didn't need to be there. And so, he found himself inclined to make nice with Sahin. After all, the stallion had done nothing to offend or hurt him.

A small smile seemed to tug at the corners of his lips as the gold stallion thanked him. Things had gone so smoothly it seemed. Rhaego almost couldn't believe his luck so far. "Of course, Sahin. I may be young and foolish but I am not heartless." he said with a wider smile. He never intended to put anyone in harms way and he would do his best to help Sahin protect his family even. As long as they lived together in Paradise he would do what he could for the group.

He had settled in place, becoming comfortable in the conversation, when the other male spoke of knowing nothing of the buckskin. Ah yes, introductions. "Of course, how rude of me." he said, shaking his head just slightly. "My name is Rhaego, I came from a place far from here though not much different." He glanced around the foliage breathing in deeply the smell of the lush surroundings.

He was caught off guard at Sahin's question though he knew he should have been expecting it. Why had he chosen Paradise? It was a question he hadn't even really thought of himself. He almost didn't know what to say but as he glanced around once more the answer seemed to come to him. " Honestly, it just felt like home." he said sheepishly, eyes focusing back on the older male. "I'm sure you and your family feel the same, you must have made many memories here so far."
