I am supposed to be that of Mother and Father. I am supposed to be the one that carries the best attributes of both parents, with as few flaws as possible. I am to learn from them. Study them. Become their better half, and turned into a whole, with a small bit of my own flare. Yet I did not get that healthy balance between the two. I got some from Father. A bit more from Mother. Yet I am still empty. There is so much I can learn, there is much to be understood, but I am hoping I can be full…one day. Though I am a nothing…this I know, but I hope to be something more…maybe- one day. I do not hate Father. Hate is such a strong word. I do not agree with how he sees himself. I do not agree with how he left me during the first few years of my life. I am at odds for understanding why he allows him to be this lowly, and yet, without him I would not be alive. I wish, for once, to understand what it is like to be held close, to feel some sort of touch, but I refrain myself from allowing such things. After all, I am my Mother’s daughter.

My crimson trimmed ear twitched when I heard my Father speak my name insisting that I follow him. Silently I stand up and follow after him, my long bloodstained limbs carried my ebony form with ease. My gait is smooth and fluid, my banner swaying side to side in a content manner. There is nothing to fear here. We are getting closer to Andras den. I can catch his heavy scent. I know he watches me when I come and go. Sometimes it is been for days since I have left Iromar, and yet, I always return. Letting him be aware of what I have seen. I have heard rumblings that this Purge is trying to take down Diveen with a band of misfits, but she is unable to lead, this I know for she hasn’t been able to do anything for so long. In Taviora the pack is silent, quiet, and does not carry a threat if their Alpha isn’t always present. I know I need to go to Spirane and gather the information he requires. The mountains are abysmal this time of year, the Winter, but I will make it through…I have to anyways. As we stand at the edge of his liar I cannot help, but tilt my head to the side, his scent was heavy, but it did not say he was here. It is then I hear the sound of his heavy paw-steps and I turn my frame around. I do not flinch when he comes. My intense violet eyes, specked with ice blue, simply stare up at him. I have nothing to fear when I am in his presence. I do, however, tilt my skull down respectfully. He is my Alpha, and he alone, gives me whatever orders he sees fit. Mother and Father may be family, but he is Alpha…he never left and he holds whatever control he has of me. One eye slides towards my Father, my black lips pulled back to show my sharp teeth- warning him to buck up and get to it. Weakness is not something I tolerate.
