DEATH FOR MY BIRTHDAY

I WANT DEATH; DEATH FOR MY BIRTHDAY

Rhaego had come to the conclusion that Autumn was indeed his favorite season. He enjoyed the way the soft winds touched the land, even here in the dense foliage of Paradise. The leaves, though never changing, seemed to dance about even more freely in the wind and the ground seemed to hold onto its moisture moments longer than the hot summer days. He couldn't help but smile as he breathed in the fresh air of his home. Life was good.

The buckskin stallion had just settled himself into the treeline by the beach when he saw the stallion emerge from the ocean. With recent events in his land Rhaego was understandbly on edge when it came to vistors. He had already had to fight off another stallion to keep his darling Leopard, he wouldn't hesitate to do it again. However, there was something different about this stallion. Maybe it was the briefly frantic look about him or that horrible sound he emitted upon landing on the beach. Whatever it was, it caused a certain sympathy to creep up in the younger stallion. Still, this was his home and he didn't need stallions just waltzing him without warning.

The buckskin stallion lifted himself from the ground with a huff, moving at a trot to meet this new horse. Rhaego did not carry himself in an overtly aggressive way but there was no relaxtion in his posture either. This was a tricky situation and he intended to handle it the best he could. And so, as he came up to the golden stallion he dipped his head a quick greeting.

"I would say welcome to Paradise, but it looks like you might have other things on your mind then where you've just landed." he said, quickly glancing about as if maybe he could solve the stallion's problem. Really, that was just foolish. Rhaego had no idea what the problem even was. "I am Rhaego, the new leader of this land." he said quickly, hoping that would explain his approach to this other male.

"Can I help you?" And that was all the boy could think of to ask. He didn't know this other stallion, couldn't even pretend to place a name with him if he tried. It didn't seem like he was coming here to try and whisk his Leopard away, but he could be wrong. The truth was, Rhaego was not sure what to do here.
