Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

Lamia watched the opossum scurry away with mild interest. Upon finding her brother she had forgotten her hunger and was no longer interested in a meal. Why should she be concerned? Even as Nogitsune snarled at her she did little more than lower her ears in acknowledgement. She shrugged her shoulders in a small apology and waited for his anger to blow out. Most wolves didn't like her for that reason. The demon pup hardly knew what it was like to feel sorry for others, even when it was her fault. Perhaps Nogitsune should have been quicker. She didn't say this out loud, of course. Over the past few months the girl had learned it was best to leave comments like that in her mind. It had caused her some trouble in Glorall. No need for it to cause her even more trouble with her own brother.

"I am doing well too. I have been learning a lot about healing with a wolf named Riopat in Glorall. I believe my training will be at an end come spring and then I shall return home to become Shaman of Iromar. Just as she had finished, Nogitsune made the quiet afternoon turn even colder. Upon hearing of her older brother's death, Lamia sat on her haunches and withdrew into her own thoughts for a moment. While it was true Naberius had been her brother, she hadn't really been all that close to him. They had seen each other at meal times or in passing within Iromar but he hadn't taken the time to get to know him nor she him. Though it was sad that he was dead, she found herself unable to mourn for the loss. "That is troubling news, brother. Tis a sad day, indeed, when a demon dies. Requiescat in pace, frater. Rest in peace, brother. Tell me, Nogitsune, who killed Naberius and what does mother and father plan to do?"

Should their parents choose to fight for the loss of their blood then she would do whatever she could to help. Though the pup was only one year old she was fiercely loyal to her pack and her family. The demon lie was a proud, and noble line that should live on. Sunset color eyes watched Nogitsune to see how he would react to her words. She waited for him to tell her the future of Iromar after such a harsh blew had been dealt. Perhaps it was time to return home a little early. Things were starting to get interesting.
