Even Pan perhaps, had not hypothesized the vigour with which Ever was given to greet him, the friends readily falling into the embrace of one another in this moment, the often serious fellow given to allow himself a near gleaming grin, such gorgeous features alight with pleasure at her embrace as both adults are given to a moment of childish playfulness in celebration of their reunion. It is only as Ever finally steps back that Pan is given to find the words upon his tongue, spouting his infamous tirade of vocals as he has forever been given to do, his clever mind readily searching for a learning experience amongst the delight of this meeting, already assured that her alliance with Taviora will be of use for him, his mind forever seeking whatever knowledge it can be given to grasp and truly a working knowledge of ally lands can only be a positive thing. At her assurance of this his grin only widens, dark eyes alight with pleasure in a rare moment of…nostalgia perhaps. The male is not often given to moments of childishness, much less moments of emotion, the creature so strongly favouring his intellectual side far more then that part of him given to be governed by the weak and fickleness of emotion and yet on occasion, even Pan is given to reminisce in the memories of younger days, Everchime a companion for so very, very long, one he remembers indeed from his own…darker times, in those days in which even he had been near given to falter.

Her mention of Vidar sees his features shift ever so slightly, Pan never having…approved entirely of her choice in imprint, indeed, his mind still remains entirely unwilling to accept that nature of imprints, so much of the scientific world seeming to disprove this notion entirely let alone his thoughts on the existence of a tangible soul. He is quick however, to push such thoughts to the back of his mind for later consideration, offering a nod in response to her nudge and desire that he visit her before allowing his ears to slide forward once more as she spoke of the arrival of her first children. It was entirely natural, he supposed, that Ever would be given to bear children, instinct at a certain age demands such a thing and yet truly the boy is mildly disappointed perhaps to know that she had chosen Vidar for such a thing. Then again, perhaps it would be interesting to study such children and better assess the manner by which genetics are passed from one parent to the next. If what Ever says is true after all, the gleaming golden boy is very near content to wonder at the possibility that unfortunate luck may be genetically inherited, head tilting slightly as such thoughts settle within his mind, dark eyes widening as she speaks so readily of her family and yet Pan himself has never been given to subtly, hardly caring for the wealth of information offered. Indeed, his clever mind relishes it.

“Have you ever been given to consider that the luck of your son may somehow be direction proportional to the unfortunate luck of your supposed imprint? Have you ever bothered to put this into a flow chart or considered a means for graphing? I really must study this phenomenon! I’d like to visit you within the spring, perhaps the summer of the next year and meet your children. As for this missing boy have you made a group or pack effort to locate him, I have an extensive knowledge of the area of Moladion I may very well be able to formulate a plan for…oh.”

The quiet whisper of a child behind him sees the golden male suddenly turn, black eyes resting upon the boy now as he asks after Ever, referring to her as ‘Mother’ in this moment Pan silently for merely a few seconds more before shifting slightly to better allow Everchime to view the boy, curiosity within his gaze now.

“Would this be the missing boy? Truly Ever, you must let me study the phenomenon of luck in regards to your family.”
