(I'm a bit time idiot and totally forgot about this thread.......ugh sorry >.<)

I was not dumb, I knew that the only thing keeping me safe in these lands was my ties to Astaroth. I knew full well that the demon king was aware of my presence here; he would have to be an idiot not to have atleast scented me here, and an idiot i knew he was not. I was playing a dangerous game, placing my life on a ticking time bomb that could go off at any second. It was a matter of time before I would have to meet the demon lord himself, Astaroth's father and face judgement. I may have this ambition to become stronger, but it will be worth nothing if I cannot earn the approval of the one I needed it from most.

Ever since my encounter with Enderly, my mind had been spinning about this whole imprint scenario. He had explained imprinting and how it works to me, but I still feel like there are a few holes in what he said. I knew that we were tied together somehow, but would we really die if the other died? It seemed unreal, yet Enderly didn't appear to be lying, even with that silver tongue of his. I couldn't imagine Astaroth dying, so I knew, if what Enderly said is true, that I would be the weak link in the bond. I needed to be strong then, now that I was Astaroth's soul.

Alligator was certainly an acquired taste, but it was one I was growing fond of. Even the constant smell of death that lingered over the swampland no longer seemed to bother me. I was becoming more comfortable with the pack lands atleast, even if I still had to work on interacting with others. It probably had gone far too long without me having atleast met the demon king, but Astaroth never even attempted to introduce me to him, so I was left to meet him on my own.

My intuition was both right and wrong. I was correct in that someone was out in the shadows watching, but where exactly they were was where I was wrong. He was a manifestation of the shadows from which he came. The way he stalked out was menacing in its own way, but the instant recognition of who he was was even more so. The way he moves is that of a leader, plus the resemblance to Astaroth is all the proof I need that this is Andras: Demon Lord.

My body immediately reacts, ears falling flat, tail and posture lowering submissively. I watch as he comes straight towards me, eyes burning into me with no signs of stopping. Only when he is directly in front of me does he stop, staring into me with unfaltering eyes. It becomes apparent what he is after, as he lowers his muzzle to my meal. I step back and lower my head respectfully, allowing him to take it; this is his land and everything in it belongs to him. I do not dare protest, for to protest would be to sign my own death wish.

I don't speak as he eats, for I have no idea what to say. Yet I have already spoken in this encounter, so if he wished to speak, he could. I waited, watching curiously but also a little hesitantly, still unsure if he's try and kill me. If he did, i'd be helpless.
