_________________________________________________________________________ When the muscular russet femme approached the darkly colored ess sitting alone at the river’s edge she did not want to assume things about this unknown female. So many times she had assumed wrong about others, had assumed that one she had her eye on would be interested, but more likely than not they would turn out to only be into males,. It seemed that the majority of the lupines she had met felt that way and it often became difficult to find someone that was like her. Ygritte was not upset that so many had not shared her feelings in sexuality, she would be told no and move on, no hurt feelings and grief. That just made life too complicated. The femme knew she would find someone eventually and there was no use dwelling and moping on the past. And so these thoughts were in the back of her mind when she approached the stranger, hoping that she may be one of the few lupines like herself out there, but would not be upset if she turned out to be wrong. Luckily, Ygritte would be happily surprised that her intentions went across well and were shared with this girl she now knew to be called Halina. The russet female’s blue-grey orbs met the bright blue gaze of Halina as she spoke. Her words were first met with silence, the dark femme closing her orbs and Ygritte once again had doubts, wondering if she had misjudged Halina and that maybe she had allowed Ygritte to sit with her to become friends, not lovers. The fae was about to get up and walk away from the rejection she knew was coming when the other female spoke, a coy smile on her face as she looked flirtingly at Ygritte through her lashes. “Of course… I came here simply to sit around all day, staring at the water’s reflection. That was my main goal for today. Looking for femmes to admire from near and afar is just a hobby of mine. How dare you ruin my goal for today, I was enjoying my boredom.” A mocking pout appeared on the femme’s features and Ygritte laughed. She could already tell that she liked this girl. Sarcasm was something that the russet femme could appreciate well, and being with someone with a sense of humor was important to her. She was not interested in someone that would always be serious. Before Ygritte had a chance to respond though the dark femme continued, clicking her tongue with a wink, “Well now that you have utterly erased my boredom and intrigued, the least you could do would be to tell me more about you… and compliment me again. I like being called pretty.” A matching smile came upon Ygritte’s kissers as she looked at the femme sitting next to her. In the russet femme’s mind Halina was indeed pretty. The scars upon her face just added to the beauty of the ess, an idea that most lupines would disagree with. In Ygritte’s mind though it showed how strong the femme was, that she could handle anything. Although Ygritte’s scars may not be as obvious as Halina’s, the femme was not ignorant to the world and how dangerous it could be. She wondered what had happened to cause the marks upon the femme’s face, and perhaps one day she would ask, but not now. Halina turned her blue portals upon Ygritte, awaiting her reply. The red ess chuckled again before speaking, ”Well aren’t you a demanding one? I suppose I should apologize for interrupting your boredom.” She smirked at the other femme before continuing. ”Tell me Halina, now that I have so rudely interrupted you, what is it that your beautiful self would like to know about me, m’dear?” Her lyrics came out smooth as silk as she looked at the ess next to her with curiosity, wondering what to share with the new female.
