"None." - Leader

The Offspring

Diccon (Cicada x Khar'pern)

Rules

• The Vulcan Peak is where homeless mares come to live as a sisterhood. Stallions may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Warriors keep mainly to fighting, Thinkers keep mainly to raiding, and Politicians may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Codebreaker or Prime Minister for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Prime Minister maintains order within the Peak and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Peak works on the Rules page.

DAUGHTER OF THE GODS

Reginleif was not blind to the importance of calculated, covert moves but she believed success relied on equal parts subtle manipulation, gentle understanding, strong beliefs and overt confrontation. When the ranks skew in favour of one method and leave the other unrepresented, the cause will fall to ruin. Reginleif had her own motives though. She enjoyed battle and bucking against the trend of oppression and 'normal' tradition. She had picked the lagoon as a home all those years ago because it gave her more of a chance to be herself. She was not surrounded by spineless women for the most part and never let the men oppress her. It was an arrangement that worked well for her, until it didn't. Rade had opened her eyes to the enormity of the oppression and that even she was not immune to it. It had fuelled the fire in her belly and though her motives were entirely selfish, they would aid the peak exceptionally.

Reginleif's dark eyes shifted as another approached her on the ledge, Black Heart Machine. She had never met the Codebreaker, and former prime minister, before though remembered the stories that echoed down the mountain in years gone by. There was a certain dose of respect the mare commanded both in the way carried herself and in the reputation that preceded her. Reginleif could not fully respect the mare though until she had seen for herself what the Codebreaker was capable of.

She watched the black mare for a a few moments, holding her gaze evenly as she considered the words and tried to work out the codebreaker's motives. Eventually, she turned her gaze back to the ledges below them. "Has there always been so little action? It seems we are all becoming ghosts up here on this mountain." While the peak had been a force when she was younger, the stories had dwindled and little word had spread that such a herd even still existed.
