The tension between the ashen mare and Skylar was evident, Cae was curious as to why? But she kept such personal questions left right were they were. She flicks a single ear towards the ashen mare, as she answers her first question about what they did in the Peak. "It was neither, she went by the name of Fatale'. She spoke of the Peak..." Her words trail off, Fatale' had been friendly. Introducing herself, even filling her in on some of things that she did not understand, nor know. As the mare goes on, she mentions that she enjoys to fight, that was an admirable quality. Cae had always wanted to learn the skill of fighting, maybe this ashen mare could teach her some valuable skills. "Could you teach me how to fight?" Her crystal blues sparkle at the thought of fighting, than she would not be helpless any longer.

Then Skylar speaks Every mare is welcome in the peak." She begins to smile, at least she knew if she ever needed to hide, she could come to this mountain peak. She did not fear Lyden, but it was the fear of being abandoned that ate at the back of her mind. "I would like to see the view that you speak of, I have not hardly seen much of the Lost Islands except for the Forest, of course. " She returns the smile that Skylar offered, she seemed nice. Perhaps that is the reason why Lyden loved her so much, not only was she beautiful but she was kind. Cae willingly follows Skylar, she wanted to see the rest of the Peak.

Halting mid-stride, she looks over her shoulder, she would stay in the Peak, only a few hours before she knew that she would have to return to the Forest. In the mean time she would learn all that she could from these mares. Even perhaps a few fighting skills that she figured would be valuable in the future.
