So, how did you like "The Game of Rat and Dragon." It's the curtain-raiser in our Fabulous Fifties S-F Frolic. I promise, I won't give you all Cordwainer Smith stories, much as I love that wonderful man's writings. I have a few more warming up, like Asimov, Brackett, Keith Laumer...fun! Really, the 50s were a horribly repressive time -- except in two areas; (1) auto design (remember those Cadillacs with tail fins? Wow!) and (2) science fiction. Otherwise it wasn't much of a decade...
