She yawned in the comfort of her own little den. There was a certain...comfort being on her own, and yet there was a slight emptiness inside of her. Her brother Naberius was gone, and she still felt the void of his life being taken away. She felt it most during the cold nights in her den. She still didn't know how to take it really, and her eyes shot open on this early, early morning. She felt a sadness inside of her, but she shook it off with a stretch of her legs.
Her head peeked out of her den, and she stepped out into the world again. She sighed slightly, looking up at the sky for a short moment. She knew she had to meet Aithne. She gave herself a moment, inhaling the world of Iromar before she let her jet black form go off towards the border. Aithne was already waiting, and Siren was just glad she wasn't late or anything. She flashed the other female a smile, although, she certainly did not expect one back, and her smile faded as she heard Aithne's words. Siren simply nodded, a bit groggy from the morning and shaking off her sleepiness and thoughts of her brother. She did not have any trouble keeping up with Aithne. She wasn't weak in that her endurance was low, and she was even a quick girl when she needed to be. She simply wasn't up to par in muscle mass, and was in stark contrast to her other dark...friend? Siren was much shorter, and built much lighter too. Yet she was able to keep pace until they reached the land of Glorall.
Her nares tingled at the new scents coming to her. This was a very different land than her home, and very different than Taviora or their Spirane neighbors. Her yellow eyes looked out like lasers, searching for anything new or interesting. Apparently though, they chose a grim day to go asking for healing training. The sky over head was grey, and the clouds made gentle booms up ahead. She looked upwards, before looking to Aithne as she showed some sort of strange possession and confidence over her. Siren could only smile at this, feeling as though it was a...friendly gesture. Perhaps she was too hopeful of a girl.
Aithne howled, and Siren remained silent. She was not sure if she was supposed to howl too, but, what would two howls accomplish? So she just stood by Aithne, one paw raised as she stands on her toes. She looks out, trying to see if anyone is coming.
Part of her wants to meet her aunt Rogue. She had heard so much about her, but Rogue...never came to meet her. It always saddened her a little. If Astaroth had children, she would want to see them! Why didn't Rogue want to meet her? She frowned slightly for a moment as she thought about it, then let up as she thought positively about it. Perhaps she can meet her now instead! Or maybe someone else that is good at healing, so she can...make friends through this healing business. She waited patiently, and her tail would certainly wag at the first one to come greet them. |
