Had he always been nervous? What had they done to him? While he might have his little nervous laughter, she took that split second to inspect him as thoroughly as possible through narrowed, suspicious eyes. Honestly, the worst thing she could have imagined might have been another girl touching him, making him giddy and uncertain of her own touch but... it seemed that his nervousness evaporated just as fast as it had come. That made her sigh in relief, her body relaxing more so as her expression changed to one just all that much happier. His mention of Diveen though made her ears flicker forward, her mouth fallen softly into an 'o' shape of quiet surprise. He wanted her to go there? She knew she might have to go one day for the well being of the pack but... just to go with Sinclair? It almost made her blush. "You think so? I've only ever seen Diveen from across the river. What's it like?" Her brows raised in excitement, her head tilted slightly as she hoped to hear it. From a distance, Diveen had always seemed so vast. Glorall was wide and expansive but the geography made it seem all the smaller with its constricting coastline. Diveen, on the other hand, seemed like a wild tangle of trees and rock cutting its way into Moladion. She wanted to see all the packs up close. She wanted to feel them beneath her paws and explore their inner workings; she'd discover all sorts of new plants and animals, and she'd learn from them all and one day... she'd be able to make everybody proud. Did Sinclair want to help? Did he somehow know that secret dream of hers? She held her breath for a second, half expecting him to interject that he did - indeed - know. Instead, however, she got smacked by a sudden tension that broke into the air around them. For some unknown reason, she suddenly felt... nervous, as if she was waiting for prey or for some sort of discipline. She really wasn't sure what kind emotion it was, but she felt a sudden surge of confident when he spoke. It was if a wall had come down inside; or like a beaver home had splintered, allowing the water to run freely. The smallest of smiles crept onto her lips as she stepped forward, putting her forehead against his as she stared into his eyes, noticing the vivid red ring around the blue. She was... so close, and her heart pounded. "Do you mean that?" She asked quietly, her lips tight. "Because... I'd really like for you to beside me forever."
