Aplos Riverside

Moladion’s powerful, winding river...
Aplos River is a broad, slow-moving river originating from somewhere beneath the mountains of Spirane and feeding Iromar’s moors in the south. The northern parts of the river are known for their strong currents, with the water becoming slow moving in the south. The riverbanks vary along its course, ranging from soft hummock grasses to small groups of pine, and sometimes nothing but pebbles and sand. Crossing can be difficult at times, but it can be swam or bridged by fallen trees or boulders alike.

this is her in blackouts

Mikoto is a fine listener. She does not interrupt with needless questions and Natu can see the speculation in her eyes. It has been so long since she has told stories and although this isn't much of a story, just a list of facts, it is nice to have one so invested in their conversations. For she expects that the fire female will reveal some secrets to her. This world held a vast array of lands and animals. She had traversed a few in her earlier years after the death of her children and her mate. It had been the only thing that had kept her sane, the constant need to travel, to feel as her muscles stretched and pulled and the gnawing in her belly that told her when to hunt. The most basic of things that seemed to pull her together once more until she landed in Moladion.

Natu flashes another easy smile to Mikoto, pleased with the females respectful tone. This female could be a liar and a cheat but Natu sensed a goodness to her soul. There were very few 'pure' individuals; she doubted Mikoto was such and she certainly had taint on her own soul.

The snow does not press past her thickened winter coat but the coolness of it can be felt by shifting her body certain ways so that the hairs part for the barest of a moment to let the cold rush in. Natu shifts her body now, her tail swishing out across the snow and leaving faint strips across the snow before pulling once more back to her body, enjoying the way her skin cools beneath winter air.

"Does this...bond..hurt?" What a question. She opens her maw to answer before closing it once more, looking thoughtful as her pale blue eyes dance from Mikoto's curious form to the whitewashed display around them. "I have not experienced the pain from it. I have heard that it does cause significant pain if the other perishes, but I do not know really how to gauge such pain for some imprints are closer than others." Like her and Heyel, who were fated yet held only the bond of friendship for his heart was occupied by another, and it was a bond she would never overstep.

Natu dips her head when Mikoto thanks her of the warnings. She knows firsthand the viciousness of some demons, though it is probably not true for all. She has been tainted by evil and therefore she is rather inclined to NOT take time to check. Mikoto now begins to tell of her own tale and Natu's ears perk up, her attention fastened to the female in wonder. What would she be then had she been born in this faraway land?

"What are you descended from, Mikoto?" She does not question the beliefs of others. Coming to a land where magic binds two souls together could make one realize that not all can be explained.
