Dance, my little puppets,
set your soul free.
Dance, my little puppets,
dance just for me.
Win/?.?/02 Nakki’s eyes glowed approvingly at the elegant chase the younger wolf showed through the snow. Potential was all she could see in the unfaltering stride. Nakki had had years of training to develop her stamina, and so the deep snow while hindering, didn’t tire her as it would have at the age of the younger wolf. She playfully took a few uncommonly gaited steps - as if she were skipping in delight. It felt good to run! Nakki glanced behind her again, surprised to see the younger wolf had closed the distance in just the few strides she’d taken to celebrate such a wonderful find in this dismal lands.
Her tail waved and then she shifted her weight onto his hindquarters and spun hundred and eighty degrees and stuck. Kindly, of course - Nakki was playing. Her teeth were gentle as she leaped into the path of the pup, attempting to grasp her ruff and goober it with a soft shake of her head. It would feel more as if Nakki were brushing her fur, even though a ferocious snarl ripped through her throat. Perhaps it was bit too bold for was was normal, but Nakki had little knowledge of truly gentle play. She’d grown up battling for fun, after all. It was pure miracle, really, that she could remember how to be soft with her mouth at all.
If she missed, well then, all ahead full force! She’d sprint off in the direction they’d just come from, using the path that they had broken to make travel through the snow easier on the way back to their play area. Nakki was more that curious to see how the pup reacted, for there was no truly correct way. Nakki only desired to see who the pup was as her very chore - who she was without the hindrance of expectation or judgement on her.
However, Nakki would dare say she might have found another adoptive daughter, like Maeve. Who knew Nakki could be so affectionate for the little rebel princesses of the world? Maybe it was because that had a natural affiliation for the game of chase - a game she very much enjoyed teaching the darker aspects of. Perhaps, if the dear darling dear was willing, Nakki would take her back to Iromar and teach her a bit about… oh who knew? Nakki had never really taught much. She just instigated the darknesses that were naturally occurring in a wolf’s personality. If she could find them, that was.
