She had decided it was time. She sought nothing in particular, if only to satisfy her vague curiosity. What had befallen the Demons that remained within Iromar when Andras had taken over? He was a wolf to be respected, this much Vera gave him, but he was also not the smartest tool in the shed nor did he have a very even temper. Anything could have befallen, or become of him, and that meant anything could have happened to Iromar, to the Demons. Occasionally, the black lady thought of the young wolf she had fed several years ago, the one whose Mother had left it alone. She wondered if the girl had survived, or died along with the rest of the whelps that did not survive their first few years. But such thoughts were soon pushed out of the flamelicked Demon’s mind. She wasn’t here to focus on anything in particular, just to be here.

The squash of the marsh beneath her black toes was almost soothing in a way, most familiar as it had been some time since her ultimate departure from Hell. Several of her long, surprisingly growing years were spent on Iromar soil, or rather mud, and Vera was indeed rather fond of the dank and dark place. The enveloping mist was also rather welcoming, though she remained on the outer edges of the pack, within the border line but not deep within the packland. The Demon did not know what had become of her brethren, and she was cautious in the same moment. Her kin were unpredictable, after all, and there may be some that did not take kindly to her return. She would see when they would come, of course, her patience a thing that comes easy to her. With being agile and fast comes a certain patience that she knows she would not possess otherwise. Finding a decently grassy area, the dark, midnight toned wolf with the sapphire eyes makes herself comfortable upon haunches.

Wrapping her thick, russet streaked tail around her delicate albeit nimble and strong paws, Vera was given to survey her surroundings. What creatures lurked within her home she did not know, but they would show themselves to her, as they all eventually would. She would allow her sweet and irresistible scent to drag through the breeze and deep into the packland, calling whatever beast forth she may to play for her visit home for the time being.
