Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

sister of warlow, dam of sven *adopted*

this is her in blackouts

Sven was still young. He had a lot to learn about the world and the ways of the brain, the way certain things could push a body past the breaking point into realms unknown. Just as it had her and as part of her physical and emotional wounds her body had turned to blackouts as a sort of coping mechanism. It was unfortunate that she could never recover her full memories nor regain control in such times but it had been a long time since her last one. And never had she had another around Sven. Life for both of them had been a struggle in the past two years. Slowly but surely things were taking a positive rise and she was grateful that she could remain in his company without the stigma of her sin forever silencing their tongues.

Her ears fall back in disappointment as he voices the very thing that she is thinking. There was little doubt to her that Heimdallr would hate her forever. She had taken something even more precious from him than she had Sven, not that he wasn't precious in his own right, but he now had the opportunity to return to his family. Heimdallr would never have his eyesight back again. No amount of wishing or apologizing could fix that crime or wipe it from her soul.

It is slightly pleasing to know that Sven recognizes her kindness but sad just the same to note the confusion in his eyes. Sven never really had understood things that day. She hadn't much either, only knowing her body had turned against her in her greatest hour of need. Nothing was quite as shocking as to realize you couldn't even trust yourself. "It was never my intentions in life to cause any harm to another but sometimes things are out of our control."

Natu lays down now, her body pressed into the soft soil while looking up at Sven and giving him a great vantage of her scars, both the puckered one above her right brow and the jagged one on her right shoulder. "See these scars? Before I even took you I was set upon by a wolf of Iromar. Their Queen to be exact. For no other reason than I was in a good mood enjoying a day, much like you were I imagine. Her teeth tore my shoulder but the fall from the Grotto is what damaged my head. I believe that while my head was healing itself it caused my... lapses... for I have not had them in a quite a long time and I pray to never again."

Had she ever really told him her thoughts on this? How she came to be this way? "Sometimes I blame her for all this, for ruining your childhood and for stealing your brother's sight. But I am as much to blame, am I not, for being so foolish in the first place." There is a caustic bitterness in her voice that seems to go against what he said about her, his implication of her kindness.

Her icy blue eyes shift from the ground to him in these statements before she suddenly smiles, beaming and jumps back up. "I am certain he will be thrilled, Sven."
