he had taken some time to visit natu, but a night or so later - after sleepless worry had caught him up, he had decided to become known to the monarchy that commanded Natu in her work for the country of spirane and for the high rank of his son amongst the alpha female’s people. he has gleaned rumor enough to know that taliesin had fared very well and had gotten the favor of the leadership - though he is not aware of just how much favor.

he comes because he is finding it harder and harder to stay away and harder and harder to think that if natu were in danger - he might never know. he knows she has risen in the ranks, some creeping title that he assumed meant her duties were in the realms of espionage and secrecy. such an occupation would leave her prone to enemies and he found himself sore at heart over the concept. she was surely capable, was so long before he came to her rescue with ifrit - but alas, love is different than imprinting… and far more selfish. if he had been her imprint, perhaps he could have controlled the wish to protect her at all costs. if he had been her imprint, perhaps he could have helped neutering her strength by presuming he needed to be there to help her.

but he cannot imprint, his soul was torn from him and he was only left with a mortal and fallible heart. fallible not in it’s wandering eye, but selfish need to be needed or welcomed into her life .

he stands at the border nearest to taviora and raises his voice to the alpha, knowing full well that his son might be in her company and none too glad of his presence in moladion again.

he is not overly large, not overly heavy - he is also not so striking as the queen or his son. he is a shadow - a silent creature whose howl was as subtle as his presence. it was a ghost creeping into the ears of those he sought, an after-image sort of sound that only occurred to the listener as a howl at all when it faded and the true silence took hold after the long note.

he stands in a clearing, more bold than most might dare, hoping that the action might speak to his sincerity with what he came to offer.
