Aplos Riverside

Moladion’s powerful, winding river...
Aplos River is a broad, slow-moving river originating from somewhere beneath the mountains of Spirane and feeding Iromar’s moors in the south. The northern parts of the river are known for their strong currents, with the water becoming slow moving in the south. The riverbanks vary along its course, ranging from soft hummock grasses to small groups of pine, and sometimes nothing but pebbles and sand. Crossing can be difficult at times, but it can be swam or bridged by fallen trees or boulders alike.

The White Wolf

Snow swayed her tail softly as she walked along the river. Her snow white fur glistened in the sun. She was alone, for the moment. She didn't care much for other wolves, to be honest. Not many interested her. Snow gave a soft yawn, and stopped by the river side. She chuckled as she stared at her own reflection, her fiery orange eyes stared into the water coldly, before she leaned her head down and began to take a drink. Once she had taken a drink, she raised her head up and stretched herself out. That was when she caught scent of another wolf. Snow stepped forward a little and sniffled a little more, her nose had not fooled her. She was certain that there was another wolf here. She smiled, as she began to make her way towards the scent. As she made her way over, she chuckled softly. She wondered what sort of wolf she would meet? She hoped, whoever it was, he wasn't boring. She hated boring wolves. She yawned tiredly, and continued to make her way over to this strange wolf. After a few minutes, she finally arrived, and in her sights was the male wolf that she had smelt. Her eyes watched him closely as she chuckled to herself. Soon enough, Snow walked closer to him.

"A lone white stranger appears, facing you, as her snow white fur bows in the wind. The white wolf stares at the other, wondering if it holds interest. Soft as snow, the strange approaches, her eyes locked on target, watching carefully. Will the other attack, or may it stay, and interest this white wolf?"

She chuckled some more as she approached him. She yawned tiredly, and stretched out in front of him. The wind made her short snow white fur ruffle gentle. Her cold eyes stared at him, with a small, slightly interested grin. What did this stranger have to offer? Was he interesting at all? Well she had no idea, maybe he was violent and she would have to run? Who knew. It was what made this situation a little interesting.
