“Time heals much in life.” Skylar said with a faint nod. But time didn’t always heal everything and the painted mare wondered just how traumatizing it had been for Alibi. She didn’t seem too upset; perhaps it was because she was wore out or that her swelling knee was taking up too much of her thoughts. With a soft sigh, Skylar glanced off in the direction the two girls had raced off too, knowing that Moonshine would surely find her should Skylar take Alibi to a better place.


“There is a stream not too far from here.” Skylar said, her eyes drifting back towards the pale woman. “The cold water will do that leg some good.” She wasn’t quite sure how well Alibi could travel and if the mare needed a shoulder to lean upon Skylar would surely offer her the help. Slowly she stepped away though and towards the direction the stream was. Memories of her twins and the dark mare that had helped looked over her during such a difficult trial drifted into Skylar’s mind, making her wonder what had happened to Inka. Skylar need to find her soon and see how she was doing but for now she needed to tend after Alibi and make sure she was settled in before taking care of other matters.
