Danny and Sol trailed after their friends with twin looks of dismay, confusion, and - though both of them tried (and failed) to hide it - curiosity. Just what did Thoth have planned? And who was the other friend they were going to see? In the back of his head, there was a voice that reminded him that Thoth was good friends with Tristan, but he never considered it might be the prince they were going to see. After all, Danny wasn't a noble or even a friend of a noble, he was just... well, Danny. No one to worry overly much about, really. He gnawed his lip carefully, feeling nerves tangle in the pit of his belly as they stopped before what was undoubtedly a classroom door. Danny's gaze slid to Thoth from under his lashes, his confusion only growing. Thoth wasn't the sort to tell on someone, so it wasn't likely they were going to talk to one of his teachers. Besides, what impact could a teacher have when it came to someone like Tarquin? Danny's hands tangled together as they typically did when nervous, peeking around Thoth to look tentatively into the classroom.

"Can I borrow Tristan?" Thoth said. Danny, who was too busy looking at the faces of older children turned towards them (and turning a dull shade of pink in the process), took a second to comprehend the statement. They really were here for Tristan?! As in... The prince?! His surprise likely went unnoticed, though, as everyone - including the tutor - were distracted by Thoth's immediate solving of the problems. Problems that looked rather difficult, once Danny finally turned his attention back to everything that was happening. Danny found the fact that Tristan joined them the least surprising of recent events. He knew, after all, that Thoth and Tristan were friends. He just hoped that prince wouldn't be too mad when he found out he was called out of class just because a few bullies had decided to mess with him. Danny ducked his head shyly, disguising a bit of the dirt still marring his face with the shadows that fell over it. His split lip and the red marks at the back of his throat and the skinned knee poking out from the hole in his breeches were still obvious. His overfull bag, which was always present, also looked a bit dirty, and his normally immaculate clothing were disheveled. All in all, it wasn't how he wanted to look when he officially met King Arthur's son.

Still pink about the cheeks, Danny bobbed a polite bow and winced at the pull on his raw neck, but offered a warm - albeit shy, and a bit limited due to the split - smile towards the other boy. "I'm Danny, Your Highness. Thoth and I were just..." Danny bit his lip again, wincing as his teeth collided with the wound on accident. He looked to Thoth, his confusion evident. "I don't want to be a bother."
