Undoubtedly, Rogue would be thankful to have a break from additional responsibility. As far as Malina knew, something had happened within her family and with that, she had decided it was as best a time as any to take the children to visit their extended family. Whatever Rogue would be going through, Malina was sure she didn't need to the additional stress of three growing children. Besides, it'd be good, right? It'd be good for them to meet Sleekwing and his family and to learn of that part of their heritage. Already, they knew of Angels and Demons and all that and yet they knew nothing of their mountain roots. It'd be good for her, too, to at least meet some of Sleekwing's relatives to get a better idea of what to expect... right? Surely that had to be how it worked. After all, Melek did not take after her. Melek was all Covet and his twisted family, as shameful as that was to say. The girl was... a concern, and Malina wanted desperately to keep her and Rogue's trio away from such a path.

And so, come the morning, she had risen them all nice and early even if they had refused or put up protest. It wasn't exactly a short trip, and she had to question their proficiency at traveling uphill seeing as Glorall was predominantly a flat area. Would they even be able to make it? She eyed them all, at least sure she could manage to pick Alcmene and Mana up. Los, on the other hand, would likely be too big for her to comfortably drag up the mountain side. If it got to that, then Sleekwing could step in - his first proper father duty.

"Melius - be good. We're going to visit your father, remember?" She pawed Mana down as she leapt about, following her from the pack and out into the free land. "Stay close and don't go chasing anything. Once we get there, you can be as loud as you want, okay?

Getting them through the free lands seemed hard enough. She needed them to be relatively quiet and not scatter about her like leaves; firstly, she did not want any wolf such as Azrael or Ava somehow finding them and secondly, she already felt lethargic about the mountain climb, so chasing after them seemed like unneeded work. In an attempt to keep them busy, she told them to count as high as they could in their heads; and if that failed, then to try copy her pawprints exactly (under the guise of assassin training.) It'd take them most the day but by late afternoon, they had finally arrived at what could be considered the base of Spirane. The moment they arrived, she had called for Sleekwing and any other that might have wanted to help - or just generally snoop, she supposed. In some way, she imagined Sleekwing's children would likely be of interest to a number of wolves. After all, he hardly seemed to be the playboy type.

As they waited, she begun to tend to the children. At first, she attempted to manage Los's fur, followed by Almene then Mana. They had to look at least presentable. Surely, Sleekwing would have to like them either way but... there was no harm in trying to make them look a little more... mountain-blooded.
