News 08.08.2021
Change was long overdue in Spirane. Now that I have learned who is still an active presence within the pack, the ranks have been updated. As I once took time away from the pack, so too now shall Kalseru. Know that she is still second in command of the pack, as is reflected in her rank. Once you are familiar with the new ranking system, if you would like to change positions or move up in the ranks you need only ask. Let this be a time of new life in Spirane, and a promise of great things to come!

When the snows fall and the white winds blow, the lone wolf dies, but the pack survives.

Death Makes Angels of Us All
IP: 71.96.195.7

death makes angels of us all and gives us wings
where we had shoulders smooth as ravens claws.

I cannot blame the bleached she-wolf for treating me with such extensive caution. If I was in her paws I would be doing the same thing. Actually I am being cautious with her. I am keeping the space between us at a friendly, but far enough distance where we both would be comfortable. Yet it is such a difficult thing to do. Especially as the terra firma gets a bit trickery to walk on, forcing me to get a little bit closer to her. I do not understand why I am slowly starting getting used to her presence. I feel a bit happy. Still feeling timid and nervous, but it isn’t as bad as when I was sitting and waiting for someone to come along the border. As we walk side by side I manage to move over the trickier part of the ground allowing my paws to be slightly scraped, but it is not major damage just most of discomfort. I would not want to do anything that would make Natu be uncomfortable. As she speaks I simply tilt my ebony skull to the side in wonder and thought. I wonder just what kind of path I might be able to travel. Hearing about the unrest of her pack I simply nod, a bit sadden that she was not in such an extreme stable environment. No one had bothered to challenge Andras and I think anyone that does it will be foolish.

As she moves I follow after her, catching up to her side and yet giving her plenty of space, because I want her to see me and I want to see her. I know she mistrusts me because of where I come from and the color of my pelt. I am still in enemy territory and should anyone come to attack me I want her to be aware of my attacker so she can defend me. At least I do hope she defends me. As we roam I take in the sights and smells as we pass other wolves. My bright intense violet eyes scan taking note of their numbers of adults and pups. As we move past them I continue to keep pace with the white she-wolf. Though I am sure she can tell that I am not as strong as she and it isn’t due to the fact that I am still a pup. I have been eating, but not really a lot of big meals. I eat the small prey and although they fill my stomach they do not help build my muscles as much. As we begin to climb my tongue slips out as I pant. This climbing is so very unusual to me. Yet I am curious to see where she is leading me. My lungs are pumping furiously as I move each paw, feeling the rocks and dirt. I struggle a bit, trying to follow her path, but trying to keep a wide breadth between us. I do not wish to frighten her still. As we reach a ledge I struggle to walk towards her and the frozen pond. As she beckons me over I keep my head lowered reaching the edge as I simply stare at the frozen pond unsure as how to get the water from underneath it. I see her break some ice with her paw and muzzle and I wait till she is done before I go to her broken hole and fill up myself with the coldest and tastiest water I have ever had in my entire life. I drink until I can no more and feel full. Seeing her move I follow her tilting my head to the side as I notice something that glints. My violet eyes widen in shock as I simply stare at the diamond covered in dirt. I cautiously come closer and lift my paw barely touching it, feeling its smooth and cold texture. I simply stare at the colors reflecting from the sunlight as my eyes shift back to her. My voice holds astonishment as I simply stare at it now.

“I have never seen such a thing…what is a gem?”
