Kai yawned and rolled over onto his back the warm sunlight along with all that energy that had been used up during his stroll hitting him and making him rather drowsy. He stayed like that with his eyes closed for a few minutes until he heard a small rustle not too far from where he lay, opening one eye slowly he made out two figures judging by their footsteps it was a female and a small pup but he could`nt be sure since his vision had gone blurry from resting his eyes. Rolling over he shook out his pelt and yawned again blinking a few times to regain his site, he was right what he spotted emerging from the trees was a youngish female and a pup but it was clear they weren't mother and child so he assumed they where siblings.
Kai stretched the muscles in his legs feeling a little better after resting, getting up he padded down to the river soaking his paws in the water looking around he noticed along with the siblings others had arrived two, more females looking at him with either hopefullness or downright annoyance that he had`nt talked to them yet and now there where males too. Glaring at him like he was some stranger come to steal away their prey, he chuckled a bit amused "go ahead and hate me" he thought and turned away to resume his place on the large rock at the far side of the river thinking that this place may be worth sticking around afterall.
On the way back to his rock he passed the siblings again, for a second he wandered why such a young female was here normally they would`nt leave their pack until later on and why had she bought a pup along? why was`nt it back at the den with its mother but then he realized it was none of his business and moved on for some reason be it their arrival or maybe just a after affect of being surrounded by the thick wave of lovey-dovey atmosphere this place gave off was making him more curious than usual today, after all it was unlike him to care about someone he hardly knew and even more so to worry about them.
