Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

There is silence though; the world is bustling around her. She watches from the shadows though; she does not approach. Not yet anyway. Ah but she is eager; she is tired of being quiet. Stepping out from her spot she'd been observing from, Snowshoe approaches the wolf. She watches him and this black masked snowy creature finds herself smiling. She stands a little distance from him now and she clears her throat.

"Hello there." A single greeting though; it is warm and kind. "I am Snowshoe of Glorall. I might inquire of who thee is?" A stranger to her of course though; that is about to change. She studies him ever so curiously through those brilliant blue eyes and misses nothing. Every inch cast over; every scar to seek out should there be any. She does not see anything wrong within his posture and so, she stands comfortably. Her tail flagged half-mast behind her though; she is observant still. Wary of the stranger but seeing no need for threatening actions. He'd laying there after all in as non-threatening a mannerism as he could. Clearly this male is not here to cause issues. Why should she be hostile? She's too old to make trouble and it wasn't like that was ever something she'd done anyway.
