Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Maybe I needed to take the initiative and get out there. Get to know the pack rather than just be bored all the time. It was not too amusing after all. I was lonely and that never worked out too well for me. I'm a very social creature and I wanted friends. Was it too much to ask for? I don't believe so. My eyes settle on the area around me and soon, they focus on Octavia. Oh! Who's this? I'm approaching her before too long and my tail is wagging behind me. Ears are erect and swiveled toward her as there's a smile on my lips.

"Well hi there. I'm Arancione. Who are you? Is this your home too?" I can't say to know everyone but then, I haven't bothered trying until now. I needed to change that of course and this was a step in the right direction. This was that start I needed. A kick in the rear to stop being dysfunctional and start becoming a true part of this family; of this pack. It was high time I did this after all. I settle back on my haunches and wrap my tail around my paws. Brilliant eyes studying her curious and with hope. A friend? Time would tell as it always did.
