Danny couldn't help but grin and nod at Lunarian as the tiger offered to help, with the condition of cleaning out Sol's mouth. Sol had immediately crawled under the table at this, no doubt thinking it would somehow hide his mass, but Danny's thoughts of tackling the beast were derailed by the serious look on Dylan's familiar face. Clearly, he wasn't sure about this plan, but Danny... Danny just knew he had to do something. At Dylan's look, and the question about Flynn, Danny blushed but met his twin's gaze without hesitation. It was a bit odd to have Dylan as the cautious one, but Danny felt so strongly about this that he barely gave it a thought.

"No," he said firmly. "He won't tell me what happened between them, and I know he'd be upset at us for trying to do this. I think the only way to get answers is from Henry himself. I'm tired of not knowing."

Danny sighed then, realizing this was exactly how Dylan had felt the last few days. Danny had to admit he was a little surprised when Dylan wanted to know when he wanted to set off, having expected Dylan to put up more of an argument. He paused. It had all seemed so... easy when he was planning the talk, but now that he was actually supposed to come up with a real plan, he felt entirely unsure. He didn't even bother to try and hide the relief on his face as Dylan offered a plan of his own, one that was far more thought out than his own had been. He nodded eagerly.

"Yeah, that sounds good! I can get most of the supplies," he said. "Tor said we could borrow whatever we wanted since Birch is off on some secret assignment lately." Danny grinned back at Dylan at the mention of books; his brother knew him all too well. Maybe he'd just put a small book in the kit... Such thoughts were interrupted by Dylan's question. With a covert glance around the kitchen, as if someone might have snuck in without him noticing, Danny pulled Renn's sketch from his own sketchbook and handed it over. "Like this, only... older, and... more tired. Kind of sad. I would try to edit it but..."

He lifted his shoulders in a shrug. He figured Dylan would understand Danny's reluctance to mar Renn's work.
