Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Her face pinched in sympathy as she worked in his wound, she knew it had to hurt, could hear it in the low rumbling of his voice. A smile came across her face as he tries to evade the pain with conversation. "Such a sweet gesture, it has a very solid ring to it." Once again she is off, gathering supplies, working quickly. She does not tire, laps with the dolphins every morning kept her fit and allowed her to sprint longer distances than average without over extending her breath.

His hissing comment makes a tinkle of bell toned laughter escape. "Hush now, this is only to stop the pain and bleeding so you can do what you were made to do." She pulls a leaf out of her sack, one side coated with a grey black pulp she made from salt water soaked poppy seeds. Flipping the banana leaf deftly over his side, the healer picks it back up again, leaving the thick pulp over his wound.

After this, she packs his shoulder with the cobwebs, pulling them gently from the stick with her teeth and placing them with her tongue to make them adhere. She replaces the banana leaf, pressing gently, yet firmly to keep it attached to his side. "Now, wait a moment and tell me how you feel. I recommend you stay as still as you can, appoint someone to handle border duty and all the other mobile affairs. You rest, and heal, and get the charming company that is me. If you'd like we can go to the island, I have a den there with extra rooms for guests." She gives him a smile. "No trying to stand for now please, until we know how the pulp will affect you...pain relief often addled my mind." Reclining, she waits, knowing the poppy pulp would make him possibly crazy.

This could be really funny, or really bad, either way the Marius could and would do anything necessary to keep him still and avoid further injury to her king.
