Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

to say sorry, doesn't hurt as much as saying goodbye...

She asked me to tell about my daughter. It was so simple! I had been stupid enough to even forget that the rose was in my mouth and opened it to speak. It fell. It must have looked so silly. She must think now that I am an idiot. And what am I saying? I tried to think of something to say, but no matter what, all that came out was a silly stutter. Now it is sealed. She will walk away and leave me right now! Who would want to stay with a wolf who can’t even speak right in the presence of such… Such nice, beautiful wolf. With a fur of a rare beauty that was envied by the intense dawning sky every day. A calm and delicate face that makes me almost hypnotized.

…. Um… I tell her a little about my daughter and even that my mate has left me for another wolf. But I change subject quickly, not wanting to bore her. I tell her my name and her eyes shine a perfect red and her tail begins to wag.

- Oh! That is amazing!

I proceed. She stands too quickly and suddenly, her smaller form tumbles into me. I feel her soft and warm touch against my chest and I can swear my cheeks are blushing. One paw lifting gently to hold at her side, trying to keep her from falling down. For a moment I stay there, looking down at her. I gently pull her back up with my own body, letting her form stand once more.

- Heh.. It… It is alright…

I tell her, giving a little lick on her cheek.

- Um.. Come! There is much to see!

I tell her, turning to walk. But I stop, before taking another step…

- Oops… The… The rose.

I said, stuttering again and turning back to take the rose in my mouth once more and turning, motioning for her to follow me.
