For the 7 boats that made it out this morning, it was a brisk and foggy start to the day. Bringing home the 1st place cash today was John Goodman. His limit of fish smashed the scales at a whopping 6.93 lbs. Second place went to the father/son combo of James and Grayson Baker. Their 3 fish weighed in at 5.97 lbs. Those teams split the big fish pot with twins that tipped the scales at 2.13 lbs.
Thanks to everyone who made it out today. It was a tough day for sure, but the weather was perfect. I encourage everyone to come out next Saturday to Bob's. John will be kicking off the Goody's Big Bass season. This year, along with "big bass of the year", John will be holding back 5% of each entry for the highest combined total of the year. So...you're don't want to miss a single tournament.
