Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Note: Susil Crags will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

fourteen - Fenrir's heart - Heyel's soul - Spider of Spirane
sister of warlow, dam of sven *adopted*

this is her in blackouts

The feeling of the cool water sluicing between her fur and chilling her overheated skin was euphoric in a sense. Being in the comfortable presence of Sleekwing also had that effect, a moment when neither of them battled some inner demon and neither of them were out on their daily tasks of their pack. Natu often thought Daenery's had a tough life, really, for being a Queen meant she had little time for such jolly jaunts as hers and Sleekwings. Not that Sleekwing often participated in such endeavors that she was aware of. Still, she did not know everything about the silver lined male. Somewhere along the way he had a sired a litter of pups who would visit Spirane to learn from him and of him.

It might be considered a trick what she just pulled but it all had been purely coincidental. That it lent an air of stealth, well, Natu would play along with it of course. It wouldn't do to let other wolves think the Spider of Spirane was afflicted with mistakes and slippy fish like any normal wolf would be. Playing cool under pressure was a per-requistie for her job, though she wasn't so much as cool as entertained by the whole scenario. Sleekwing whips his head out with an instinct born of his position and paddles the rest of the way with the fish firm between his jaws. Natu grins down at him as she shakes out her fur and when he climbs up she watches with humor, fur still dripping.

"Slick, but not slick enough," she said with a pouty voice, though it was all feigned, for when he pulled back the flesh and offered her a bite Natu stepped forward and pulled at the meat so that it peeled off into her maw before moving out of the way for Sleekwing to eat. A nice snack, a nice bath, and nice company. A relaxing day it would be. She moved towards a the edge of a rock that was shaded by a large tree next to it, laying down and gnawing at the meat between her paws, icy blue eyes flicking to Sleekwing. "Tell me of your children, Sleekwing. Do you suppose they will one day come to Spirane?" Her voice is relaxed, her manner focused half between him and food, clearly giving him an out if he did not wish to speak of it, but curiosity and her manner for picking up information demanded she ask.
