The Grotto

Disaster has struck!
Years ago, an earthquake broke open several entrances into a deep, winding series of subterranean systems. It was thought that deep below, underground rivers snaked their way below Moladion. Now, flooding in the Northern reaches of Moladion has proven this theory to be true.

The Grotto is almost entirely submerged. Many of the entrances are completely inaccessible, and those that are only extend a few hundred feet before ending in water. The lower entrances, however, act almost like a giant drain for Moladion. Water pours down into the Grotto's maw as powerful rapids and waterfalls, and large amounts of debris have build up throughout the area. It can be exceptionally dangerous to travel due to the risk of flash-flooding and dams suddenly breaking, but the Grotto does offer the most consistent access across the floodwaters because of those dams.

Note:The Grotto will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

It does not take a genius to tell the difference in tones between one personality or the other with her, she smirks at his response to her last question, remembering that rasp from the admission of before. 'I like eating them...' In all of her wandering, the half-there female had never seen another with her particular affliction, shock and surprise had filtered into her gaze at the revelation - along with a smirk.

The smirk becomes full blown when she is not out right attacked by the second beast within a beast, her tail waving slowly behind her as interest piqued in that electric green gaze of hers. "Well, I don't fear. It was an emotion I could not afford." She speaks smoothly, coming to lay just before him as he sniffs at her. She takes the time to do the same to him, as he sniffs her paw, she sniffs at his blackened head. "Fear is tasty." Those saccharin chords are plucked from Hell, her voice rasping now as she speaks, the usually soft and girl like tones becoming hard and deeper. Her others are called by no name, though they call themselves Legion, Jaidah was entirely convinced they only did this to feel more together. Often times she was at war with herself, no treaties like Elijah's to come to, Legion only cared that They were fed.

"So...are you...uh...what they say? You truly eat others?" Her head tilts in what would be described by others as a cute gesture of confusion, but he would see it for what it was. She is fishing, hoping that he is like her, knowing better than to hope. Jaidah's own frame remains relaxed, her eyes watching the male before her, making sure to note when his twitching muscles signal that he will try to rise against her. Wariness is better than fear, it allows for thought, for true observation, though hers is quick to be abandoned. Finally, she was in the company of another, and she didn't have to think that he would try and hurt her - at least not in this particular moment. He seemed as volatile as she was, but she could not know it. "Do you want the walls red?" Legion asks, curiosity blooming in their chest as Jaidah and the voices listen for a response, her question making complete sense to her. She wanted a partner, someone to run and hunt with, being a pack wolf alone was difficult for her, but she would never again have a pack behind her. She would not risk abuse from any alpha, dad or not.
