Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

How sweet Aviias is and intelligent. Zaphkiel loves to tell stories but in order to tell stories one must first listen to those around them and participate in life. Since he had already done his time participating, his scars mark such an endeavor, it was time to listen to what others had to say. And the first thing that fall from the lips of the gray wolf is a quote that could be reused over and over to children. Zaphkiel's eye glittered at the words, clearly approving, and his tail slapped the ground. "I'd hazard to say your mother was a very wise wolf and you seem to have taken her wisdom to heart." Singing was such a soulful way to reveal one's true nature. One could not hide behind deceit when singing for the music came out in subtle tones of truth.

Fast forward to Gaia, collapsed upon the ground with Zaphkiel standing above her like some guardian god from history. With her nearby and his own heart slamming in a fit to be released from his chest and into hers there is nothing Zaphkiel wouldn't do to ease her pain. Is it weird that such a protective instinct swells up in his chest? For a moment he feels as if he could command to earth to move and it would obey, that was how strong he felt with her mismatched eyes gazing up at him and the burning happiness that he can feel from her. Nothing is as great as the knowledge that his other half is so thrilled at his presence; nothing can bring down the high that now sweeps through his veins.

Aviias says something that he doesn't even catch because he is ensnared in the eyes of Gaia, his muzzle reaching down once more of it's own violtion until only a breath separates them. "Beautiful," he murmurs, staring into her eyes. Why did he need to walk among the stars when he could see them glimmering through her eyes? He had a feeling now that this might be the biggest adventure of his life all sprawled out before him.

Then Aviias is back with leaves and his attention is dragged to her, snapping from the moment with Gaia so that he can breath and drift back down to earth once more. He blinks, turning his head once more so that his working right eye can peer down on Gaia while she eats the herbs and speaks to them, her tail wagging and happiness emanating from her. Gaia, how lovely, he thinks and he catches the names of her parents. "Iblis, King of Asteraia? You are a Princess. I should have known. You have the look of a Queen." Well, Zaphkiel's way with speech and embellishment come to the forefront faced with his imprint, who to him did seem a lovely Princess figure. "I am Zaphkiel, son of Azrael, Dark Knife of Diveen, and Andromeda, the Dreamwalker." The words are proud and he glances at Aviias now, a soft smile offered to her. "Thank you, Aviias, for your quick helping. Taviora does not know the jewel they have in you."
