Soljor watched the mares. Azariah seemed to shrink. Poor girl. She seemed rather dependent and Soljor wasn’t interested in adding an additional mare that would just hang out in the quiet solitude that the small pine forests offered. He had enough of that. Izadora on the other hand kept her head and spoke with them. Before he had much of a chance to respond, Dogun did. Well, he had offered the smaller stallion the pick of the two.

The pony king moved forward, eyes on the palomino. It seemed that Dogun gained mares like he did. Well, Soljor couldn’t blame him for that. Soljor instead, moved closer to the perlino Izadora. He didn’t know how it felt being caught between two hard places. Well, Dogun wanted the palomino…

He didn’t speak, he merely acted. He didn’t like to give into much conversation on the Commons anyway. He reached across the space between himself and Izadora and lightly nipped her shoulder.

“I’ll make this easy for you, Izadora,” Soljor said. “We’ll be going to the Bay.” He looked at the Dogun. “You as well, Dogun. I hope things are well.” He looked back at Izadora. “Shall we depart?”
