Dusk met the male's kind eyes for a moment, her eyes locked with his. She forced herself to look away after a few heartbeats, and turned to look at the trees. She then suddenly remembered his question. "Oh no, please do say. Sorry if I seem so shy it's just.."
She cut herself off. She didn't want to blurt a whole bunch of things to the new male, in fear that she might drive him off or come on as rude. "Sorry." she murmured softly, her pale gray-brown fur spiking slightly with embarrassment.
She felt her heart hammering in her chest, and shuffled her paws wondering if the male could even hear. The sound of the river beside them gave her some comfort. She pricked her ears slightly. She could only feel her heart beating.
Dusk brought herself to look at Nium. "Isn't that grass a little damp?" She asked. She sniffed the air a little. The forest and stone still smelled wet from the previous rain. Her paws ached slightly from the cold stone she was sitting on, and even if the grass was wet, it would still be better then the freezing stone.
