The moment she sees him the girl is tucking herself down. She shakes with the fear that puppies should have, the fear that his own had lacked, and it appeases him somewhat. If she had stood up to him and mouthed off something smart, reminiscent of his own children, then he would likely have attacked her. It was not in Enderly's nature to be a killer. To harm those around him with anything other than words or a well placed trap that did not involve him doing the dirty work. Yet with this dark thing inside of him unwinding and clawing at his insides.. driving him mad, well, what he would have done and what he would do now are two different things. Myra is lucky to not hear things in that she cannot know how to act in defiance against everything. Defiance - Enderly hated it. Loathed it. On a good day it might entertain him but his days seemed constantly more morose than before.
There is something about this girl that perks his curiosity. As she cowers beneath him Enderly lifts his head, straining his senses, and flares his nostrils. There! A familiar scent from before, a reminder of a wolf who had spoken to him with his own sadistic traits. Kaius. Brother to Denali. He hadn't quite had a chance to seek out one of his favored disciples, Denali, to beset her with such problems. Enderly truly did feel an affection for Denali though part of it was for the fact that she listened to him. Believed him. Even when he lied. He enjoyed it when those around him fell for the poison from his lips. Denali was innocent, a sweet tempered girl. Too bad she had went and found an imprint - he might have taken her under his wing.
This little girl looks a strikingly good deal like Kaius and some like Denali. It has his silver eyes gleaming in interest. As she creeps closer, quickly overcoming her fear, he drops his face down so that he can reach out and press his nose to hers, sniffing, sucking her breath away, drinking her in. "All alone little one... Daddy must have left you to the crows. I'd expect no better from him. Foul manner creature that he is. But your auntie.. she might be very interested to learn of your existence."
A slow, spreading smile descends on his maw. The beast inside of him is pleased with this. Fate has certainly had a hand today in bringing this about! Too bad Kaius hadn't hurt the girl a bit before Enderly got there. That would have really sent Denali in a tizzy. Still, assuming she did not know she had a niece, this would be fun. And somewhere this girls mother might be missing her. Too bad!
Quickly he reaches out now and settles his jaws around her scruff, picking her up even if she decides to fight, and begins a swift, bouncy trot towards Iromar with his package in tow. Oh yes, this will be fun!
