She had weathered the storms of Spirane and weathered many personal ones after. It was freeing to let Daenery's know all about her. To give up even her deepest regrets and fears to the one who held all the power over her - because if she was to be kicked out of Spirane it would be heart wrenching for her. Yet Daenery's was a fair Queen. Natu could never say she held any sort of loyalty for the past Queen's, Moonglow as well, for she had not been here long when the female had held the reins of the kingdom. It was a sad day upon her death, even Natu had felt the pressing sadness of loss for it reminded her so keenly of her own. The cries of Moonglows children were a sound that had echoed through the valley like some eldritch song of old. It burrowed deep into the mountainside and etched into the hearts of those here, a memory never forgotten.

In a way it is why she sits here asking Daenery's of such personal things. Maybe it is a bit much to push after this revelation of hers but she feels a sadness for Daenery's. She is a beautiful soul, and maybe happy as Queen, but Natu got the distinct feeling that she was not as happy in her own self as she could be. Love had a way of mending such breaks. And she was certain that there had been something between the pair when they had come to Spirane on Daenery's day of claiming.

It is there on her face in the way the pain creases her eyes, in the faraway gleam. Ah, so it was true. There is nothing worse than to have found in one someone to love and then to lose it in such a fashion. Natu waits patiently below, not judging for how could she judge when Dany had not?

"Some pain is not easily forgotten," Natu answers softly, moving her own gaze away so that she will not be caught staring on Daenery's own pain. "But, in the spirit of the future, perhaps it has paved the way for something even greater to come into your life. I have no doubt that in time you will find a piece of you that even you didn't know what was missing." Now she smiles softly, a somewhat motherly smile as she turns her eyes back to Daenery's. "Every ending is just another beginning, as painful as it may seem."
