Bright Moon - a land sullied by mystery and the ravaging scars of a terrible fire. Abandoned as a pack land for years, the terra has been used as a gathering place for the brazen and bloodthirsty drawn there by the lingering pall of death. Yet from the ashes there comes an unordained phoenix, the rainbow hues of hope glinting in her mismatched globes. Through the obsidian drapes obscuring the scenery, she alone was able to catch the perfumed aroma of new life on the breeze and hear the sluggish streams flowing ever swifter into the morning.

Thus, with a purpose, she set out to map the incognita, discovering daily the extent of the reawakening and unearthing within herself a desire to return the landscape to its former glory. Now she stands tall as privileged Alpha of the lands, lording over the rock-strewn prairie and bountiful forests with a firm but gentle paw.

Having finally realized her deepest longing to be a queen, Satowra is focused solely on the revival and maintenance of the Bright Moon Pack. Her question to each prospective warrior that comes to the border is simple:

"Do you have what it takes?"

Summer thought that life would be much different now that he had made such a big step in his life. Becoming alpha was something he had always dreamed of happening, something he had been trained to be ready for. And now that it was here he was expecting to feel or act differently, but really he felt the same. It was such a natural and easy transition to go from a ranked wolf to one that was a leader. It was what his father had always trained him to be, and now he was there. He just wished that his family was around to see it, so they could be proud of all he had accomplished, so they could share more advice on how to properly provide for his pack. But he supposed he would learn as we went through it all and that was all he could do now. He could not go back in time and change how things had happened in the past and he knew it was best not to dwell on such thoughts.

As the familiar scent of one of his packmates reached his nares he decided to head over and see what the other brute was up to. He recognized Scion’s scent as he approached, remembering the one brief encounter that they had had in the past. Summer was going to make it a point to get to know all the lupines in his pack, to bond and learn to trust each one in the hopes that they would all trust him as well. For he truly was committed to this pack and everyone in it, and he wanted them to know that. The smoky brute remembered how his father would make a point to know the names of everyone in their pack, even though it was a very large pack, and his father was in charge of many things. Summer knew it was important to know each and every lupine within his pack. So with an easy smile on his features he approached Scion, hoping not to disrupt the brute that appeared to be training. He never reacted when Summer approached and the way he was working himself physically reminded the brujo of his brothers and how they had all trained together, working just as hard as Scion was working himself now. Especially his brother Grey Wind. The large grey brute had pushed himself further than any of them, working late into the nights to have his muscles and body ready for anything. When Summer’s mind wandered to his family he often became sad, missing the lupines he had grown up with and loved and had lost. He wondered what had happened to all of them and where they had ended up, afraid that most of his family was dead as his parents were. The guilt of losing his youngest sibling threatened to creep in as it so often did, but he pushed those negatives feelings away, turning his attention back on Scion.

The smoky brute finally spoke, starting the other brujo that had been too engrossed his training to notice that another being had approached him. The brute stopped his actions at once, body coming to attention when Summer spoke. He was surprised by the reaction, wondering what type of training and upbringing this male had grown up with to have that type of reaction. But he appreciated the respect that Scion showed when he spoke. Green orbs watched Summer intently and then the brute relaxed ever so slightly, and Summer smiled encouragingly, hoping that the other lupine would know he meant no harm and that he only wanted to be friendly. To learn more about the lupines in his pack and grow a bond with each and every one of them. “It is quite alright, sir. I would much like the company.” Scion spoke with a slight submissive tone, orbs now looking away from Summer’s yellow ones. His curiosity increased, wanting to know how this brute had been raised to act in such ways. He was in no way judging the brute’s actions, he had encountered many different types of lupines and he liked that there were so many unique personalities one could have. It made life more interesting that way.

Summer looked over Scion’s muscular form, knowing that this brute must have done many trainings like this to have the body type that he had. Maybe it could be beneficial to the pack to hold a training session like this to help everyone feel more comfortable with physical activity, should anything ever happen in the pack he did not want anyone to feel helpless or defenseless. Maybe Scion would be willing to help Summer with this, as it was obvious that he knew what he was doing. ”Thank you. How do you prefer to go about trainings with a partner?” Summer had worked many times on his own, but it could often be helpful to have another body to work with. Summer and his brothers used to take turns practicing in pairs, Summer with Grey Wind or Summer with Ghost, the older boys always going easy on him and he remembered how angry it made him when he was a young teen practice fighting with his adult brothers. He wanted to help Scion and work in a way that would make him comfortable and help him, not do something that would be useless to the other lupine. The brute stood up, stretching out his muscles for a few minutes while he waited to see what Scion would want to do, enjoying the stretch of his legs and shoulders as he prepared his body for the physical activity.

OOC: So I decided since it took me so long to reply I’ll just have it be after Summer became alpha, hope that’s ok =)
