Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

This situation was less than ideal. Sekhmet glanced around awkwardly, her body stiff and tense from the sudden shock of the murky black water. It was a good thing that there was no one out here to see- scratch that. Her dark ears flicked in the direction of the muffled voice and she spun around, her fur bristling. Silvery-purple eyes fell upon the form of another wolf, carrying in her maw a fresh kill. Sekh let herself relax a little bit, sighing quietly. She certainly wasn't making a very good impression, looking more like a creature of the swamp than a wolf at this point. And her snarling and bristling wasn't helping.

She watched as the stranger dropped the rabbit, nudging it towards her. Under any other circumstance she would have refused the help, but she really was hungry. "What told you that?" Sekh said with a snort, taking a few steps forward and bending down to bite into the rabbit, before she was interrupted by the arrival of another stranger.

"Do all the wolves here hang out in the swamp or something?" the brown wolf said, her tail giving an annoyed lash. Less annoyed at the company, and more annoyed at the fact that she was meeting said company in her present condition. It was a huge blow to her ego- usually Sekh was far more intimidating, but at the moment she looked like she had just clambered out of the depths of the swamp.

The newcomer appeared to be far less sure of himself than the other female, and Sekh straightened up to watch the words tumble out of his mouth, forgetting about the rabbit for now. She watched him with a slightly amused expression as he continued to talk, seemingly unable to stop the flood of words from his mouth.

"First of all, slow down." Sekhmet said with a raise of her eyebrow. "I'm fine. I don't need help." In all honestly she could use someone to show her out of this godforsaken swamp and to a river or lake or something like that to wash off all this disgusting muck. And the rabbit was tempting too, but she wasn't about to eat now that there was another wolf here.
