It had been some time since something of magnitude had happened in Enderly's life. Nothing fun had happened since Nakki had challenged Elijah to a fight and even that had been cut off too soon. Enderly missed her in some ways. Here in Iromar he remembered her, the fiery crazy wench that she was and the way she excited him with that madness. Because in her he had found a partner willing to play games, even if she was willing to take the games to a totally different level than he was. Yet this day fate had given him such beautiful circumstances. The child in his jaws was so peaceful. See? If that was not a sign of this fortuitous occasion then he did not know what is. Perhaps there is a sickness inside of his soul to wish to see the terror and angst that undoubtedly Denali would possess when she realized who this pup came from, especially since he professed friendship with her, but such is as it is.

She comes like a ghost upon him. Clearly Iromar has taught her a few things. Besides, this place reeked and was filled with splashes and creaks and otherwise unsavory sort of sounds to Enderly's ears. It is no wonder that no one challenged anyone here. If they decided to assisnate another they'd have to intimately know this palce. Yet the smile that blooms across his face as she appears is nothing short of magnificent, his own silver eyes locking on her with a hungry gleam. Denali would see the pup soon but for the moment he will feast his eyes upon her. Ah, so different than the wolf he had cornered in the grotto that day, the wolf he had pressed for answers. The wolf he had tricked into believing that once Astaroth died that she too would follow as the bond called for.

She knows him. It is no surprise that there is suspicion written clear on her face even as she moves closer to him to bump him and let him release the child. Enderly is eager to do so, his eyes on every detail. "I have a surprise for you indeed, dear Denali," he coos in his silvery voice.

Myra dashes to Denali with that frightfully innocent manner, perching her paws on Denali's lean legs and staring up at her and Enderly watches the way Denali stares in blank shock at the girl. The way the answer is written so clearly on her face - the knowledge. He drinks it in like nectar, his head slowly coming down and ears pricked forward, avid. "Yes there is," he prompts her denial, shoving the knife deeper into her. She will forgive him in time, after all he didn't leave the pup to die and she needed to know. It was lucky for them that Enderly was the one who found little Myra.

She snaps at him for even now she knows of his games but he doesn't answer. Let Myra take care of her prickly manners and soon enough she does. Denali lays down and the puppy begins to crawl tediously over her; Enderly grimaces at the sight. Children were nothing he wished for anymore. His own were such a disappointment. Then Denali looks at him once more with a small smile. He seats himself now, eying the duo still. "Well grateful is what you should feel. My jaw aches from carrying her. She is much too big for a pup don't you think? Maybe she should cut down on her meal times." He gripes now, preening and fluffing out his chest as he casts looks at her. "I found her alone in a cave in the grotto. Alone and with Kaius's scent a recent thing. Yet I am certain he does not bed down there nor does the pup.... she could not have been there long. Something is wrong with her too."
