She kept her head tilted down, her wary gaze seeming to relax as he spoke. Deep black ears perk forward, her head rising a little as she sits, showing his approach is acceptable. Maybe he wouldn't hurt her, but what if he was just biding his time, lowering her guard to get her unaware? Still, something in her wants to give this wolf the benefit of doubt, instinct telling her she could relax. After all, she wasn't in her home land, she wasn't being used or hurt, she had escaped and this wolf here proved it!
Those dual toned eyes instantly seemed to brighten as they grew wide, excitement and complete joy grew to enormous proportions within her lanky frame. A wide smile grew on her face, her ink black tail waving joyously to and fro as she stands. "Do you know what this means, you being here and not hurting me? It means I have done it! I'm finally free!" A bubbly and what could only be described as infectious laughter escaped from her vocals, and her paws danced in their places just before becoming a flurry of excited and surprisingly swift motion. Jetting around him, she kicks up rocks and earth, leaving deep gouges in the dirt beneath her ever increasingly blurred paws. All the while she laughs, her streamlined form seen leaping and kicking up her heels and front legs, utter joy and freedom flowing through her display.
She comes streaking toward him like a white marked black bullet fresh from the barrel of a smoking gun, stopping with a jump to land before Sleekwing with a breathy smile and a cute little play bow. Her childhood had been stolen, but that did not mean youth had died within her ebony frame. She was too happy to worry about any pain that lingered, emotional or otherwise. It was too splendid a day for that, and besides, with such soothing company, how could she possibly be upset?
